Windows Powershell and Security Engineer– Quant Trading

Overview

In this role you will own and evolve the Windows infrastructure that underpins critical business operations. You will work within a fast-paced, highly technical environment and collaborate with smart colleagues to deploy and optimize systems. Your focus on security and automation will help scale and harden the Windows estate across servers and desktops. Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Windows infrastructure (servers and desktops)
• Plan and execute deployments to improve the environment
• Monitor hardware performance and tune for efficiency
• Drive automation and scripting using PowerShell to streamline tasks
• Collaborate across a mixed Windows/Linux environment to support continuity of business
• Support security-focused initiatives within the Windows ecosystem

Key requirements

• Degree from a top institution (stated in description)
• 5+ years of experience with Windows 10 and Server 2012R2/2016
• Experience with hardware monitoring and performance tuning
• Strong interest in security
• Fluency in PowerShell (expert level)
• Passion for automation
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory/DNS/DHCP
• Experience in fast-paced, agile environments
• Networking experience
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, capable in a demanding, jack-of-all-trades role
