Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day project delivery of M&A transactions across types (sell‑side to trade and private equity)
- Lead creation of marketing materials (teasers, information memorandums, management presentations)
- Oversee or perform financial analysis, high‑level modelling, valuations, and PE returns modelling
- Provide technical insights to address commercial/financial/strategic challenges
- Contribute to deal structuring and provide strategic input to clients
- Coordinate and manage all stakeholders (clients, investors, legal advisers, lenders) and resolve issues
- Identify and mitigate risk management issues
- Support business development: attend events, build client relationships, pursue opportunities
- Prepare pitches, proposals, and marketing initiatives
- Participate in recruitment, mentoring and people management within the team
- Foster cross‑service collaboration and internal deal origination
- Coach and develop junior team members
Key requirements
- Demonstrable experience across all stages of an M&A transaction within corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity
- Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent) preferred but not essential with transaction depth demonstrated
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building
- Strong analytical capabilities with ability to form commercial view
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines
- Excel and PowerPoint proficiency for financial analysis and client/target documentation (IM, teaser, pitch decks)
