Overview
As a Workday Financial Reporting and Accounting Lead, you will guide the delivery of enterprise-scale Workday solutions for global clients, often leading a project workstream. You’ll build trusted relationships with customers, translating their needs into fit-for-purpose, commercially viable Workday solutions. You’ll mentor junior team members and drive customer transformation through robust reporting and analytics. This role focuses on shaping data-informed business decisions within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of Workday reporting and analytics to clients
- Drive customer transformation through Workday data and reports
- Build and maintain relationships with customers; understand requirements
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Configure and implement enterprise-scale Workday solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and remote stakeholders
- Ensure high quality, accurate outputs and adherence to standards
- Plan workload and manage timelines
- Engage in workshops and presenting functionality to customers
- Travel to customer sites as needed
Key requirements
- Financial Accounting certification
- Workday Advanced Reporting certification
- Workday Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reporting experience
- Solid understanding of Workday products (HCM/Payroll/Financials)
- Strong customer orientation and advisory skills
- Effective communication with customers and colleagues, incl. remote settings
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project dynamics
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in remote/onsite settings
- Willingness to travel within region as required
- Awareness of confidentiality policies and information security
- Knowledge of international regulatory requirements (nice to have)
