Responsibilities
- Deliver transport planning studies including local transport plans, business case development, and major transport schemes
- Conduct monitoring and evaluation and develop active travel interventions and public transport strategies
- Support delivery within a large regional and national portfolio (Department for Infrastructure, Translink, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, National Transport Authority, Local authorities)
- Collaborate within a team to pursue training and career development and pursue opportunities for innovative solutions
Key requirements
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience in transport planning
- Some experience in project management
- Recent experience in business case development, transport plans, strategic transport studies, transport modelling, or monitoring and evaluation (advantageous)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Curious mindset and willingness to learn and help clients understand what works
