Overview
As a VP in Technology Audit, you will shape the audit universe for technology risk, leading risk-based planning and rigorous testing of controls. You will partner with management to remediate issues, and maintain strong relationships with tech staff while staying ahead of industry best practices and regulatory expectations. You’ll explore opportunities to apply AI, automation, and data analytics to audit activities, driving impactful insights across the organization. This role sits in London or Manchester and plays a pivotal part in safeguarding the firm’s technology risk posture.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to risk assessment of the audit universe and annual plan
- Plan audits in line with methodology and standards, defining risk-based scope
- Execute testing of controls with accuracy and adherence to standards
- Identify issues and communicate them to stakeholders effectively
- Collaborate with management to ensure timely remedial action
- Maintain relationships with technology staff to stay informed of changes and controls
- Keep knowledge up to date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for AI, automation, and data analytics in audit
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Computer Science
- Master’s degree preferred
- CISA, CISM, CISSP or similar qualifications desirable
- Several years of total work experience; IT auditing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IT application processing and general controls
- Cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, and resiliency principles
- Confident communicator with strong influencing skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or interest in data analytics, AI, and automation in audit
