Senior Quantity Surveyor | RC Frame & Groundworks | London

Overview

In this role you will lead commercial delivery for RC frame and groundworks packages in London, managing front‑end to final accounts and ensuring financial control. You will work closely with site teams, clients with long-standing relationships, and the commercial department to drive value while upholding safety and quality standards. The position offers exposure to large 10–30m packages and opportunities to shape project outcomes from tender through completion. This is a strategic, hands‑on role in a privately owned specialist sub‑contractor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs and maintain financial control
• Produce CVRs, cost reports, and forecasts
• Prepare and agree valuations
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
• Identify and manage variations and change control
• Liaise with site teams, clients, and consultants
• Support tendering and procurement activities where required

Key requirements

• degree qualified
• 5+ years in Civils/Structures
• experience managing groundworks & RC Frame packages (desirable)
• ability to guide junior members of the commercial department
