Overview

In this role you will support external PR and internal communications across Bidwells’ UK teams. You will craft engaging copy, draft press materials, manage media lists, and pitch to journalists while tracking coverage. You will help with events, launches, and internal communications, staying ahead of news trends. You’ll join a collaborative Marketing and Communications team within a sustainability-minded, B Corp–certified firm that values innovative property advice.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality copy for external and internal channels
  • Draft press releases and comments; identify PR opportunities
  • Build and manage media lists; pitch to local, national and trade press
  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports; manage briefs
  • Support events, launches and client meetings; attend journalist meetings
  • Brainstorm fresh PR angles aligned to news trends and competitive activity
  • Develop internal content for intranet, newsletters, and digital signage
  • Assist with blogs, website articles, case studies and thought leadership
  • Coordinate slide decks, agendas, and minutes; assist with communications reporting
  • Provide general ad hoc administrative support and stakeholder content collection

Key requirements

  • degree qualification in English, journalism, communications or PR (preferred)
  • some PR experience (in-house or agency)
  • interest in property or professional services beneficial but not essential
  • experience with social media tools (Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • exceptional written and verbal skills
  • team player with ability to contribute beyond own remit
  • ability to build relationships at all levels
  • ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • strong planning and organisational skills
  • ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Canva and/or media monitoring experience advantageous
  • excellent telephone manner; professional attitude and presentation
