Overview

In this role, you will support the Catastrophic Injury team in handling high-value, complex personal injury matters. You will work within a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and excellent client service. You will manage and assist on EL/PL and motor claims, coordinate expert input, and help drive large, multi-party cases. This position offers exposure to high-profile matters and opportunities for development within a supportive firm culture. You will contribute to shaping outcomes through meticulous case management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist on high value EL/PL and motor claims
  • Handle sensitive matters, including those attracting national media attention
  • Prepare detailed medical chronologies
  • Arrange expert appointments and conferences with counsel
  • Assist with disclosure management
  • Support senior fee earners on large, multi-party cases
  • Help train and mentor a junior Litigation Associate

Key requirements

  • 5-6+ years’ experience in personal injury defence work
  • Strong understanding of EL/PL and motor liability claims
  • Proven ability to prepare complex medical chronologies
  • Experience working on large cases within a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence liaising with clients, experts, and counsel
