Overview
In this Geotechnical Engineer role, you support delivery of UK infrastructure programs with a primary focus on water projects. You will work within our Geotechnical Team, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to provide expert ground investigations, risk-informed design, and practical guidance to contractors. You’ll help translate ground risk into actionable design intelligence while contributing to sustainable, nature-positive geotechnical solutions. Responsibilities
- Support delivery of UK infrastructure programs, primarily in the water sector
- Collab with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert geotechnical advice to contractors
- Prepare desk studies and site investigations reports
- Perform geotechnical analysis using modern software and standards
- Develop interpretative geotechnical reports for ground investigations
- Contribute to sustainable, nature-positive geotechnical solutions
- Evaluate ground risk and translate into design intelligence
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Geotechnical Engineering
- Master in Geotechnical Engineering or Geology is beneficial
- Chartered status or active pursuit with ICE or Geological Society
- Experience in site characterization, data acquisition, and initial reporting
- Proficiency in geotechnical reporting and analysis with industry software
