Advanced Specialist, Agile Business Analyst

Overview

In this role you will drive transformation initiatives within Pearson Qualifications, working in a matrix environment to deliver business value. You will elicit requirements, facilitate agile ceremonies, and ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs while coaching junior analysts. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and design scalable solutions, communicating progress to leadership. This role offers exposure to senior leaders and a focus on continuous improvement in a high-impact programme that shapes how we operate and deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis for transformation projects aligned with business goals and agile principles
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams in a matrix environment to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews) and promote agile practices across teams
• Mentor and coach junior Business Analysts to support growth and best practices
• Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and design scalable solutions
• Communicate requirements, progress, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the business analysis community
