Overview
In this role you will oversee the Group’s financial control environment to ensure compliance and effective risk management. You will work within the Group Finance team to maintain robust controls, conduct regular audits, and support the external statutory audit coordination. You will lead the risk-based audit program across Group companies, driving improvements and efficiencies in financial operations. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and system development input, with a focus on accurate reporting and strong governance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an internal audit risk register covering financial management (including Taxation).
- Lead with finance teams to strengthen the control environment and ensure discipline.
- Provide training and guidance on control procedures and compliance.
- Conduct regular risk-based audits across Group companies and report findings.
- Highlight weaknesses and follow up with remediation guidance.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and implement changes.
- Provide detailed reports on control effectiveness to senior management.
- Manage key stakeholders across the Group including the Group CFO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote best practices in financial management.
- Contribute to systems development focusing on reporting, measurement, and control requirements.
- Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required by Group team
