Senior Structural Engineer – Mining

Responsibilities

• develop and deliver high-quality structural design and documentation
• drive concept designs from scratch with emphasis on safety and innovation
• engage with other engineering disciplines, clients and key stakeholders
• develop/review basis of design, technical specifications, datasheets, scope of supply, bid evaluations, and vendor documents
• support projects through all phases from studies to detailed engineering and execution
• maintain strong oral and written communication across teams and clients

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience in structural design within a consulting environment
• experience in mining, heavy industry and industrial design
• ability to lead concept design development from scratch
• familiarity with design standards (Australian Standards, ASME, API)
• capable of producing and reviewing basis of design, specs, datasheets, and vendor documents
• strong oral and written communication skills
