Overview
As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer in the Environment unit, you will drive the electrical delivery of high-value water infrastructure schemes from scoping to completion. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external designers to ensure quality and compliance across Severn Trent projects. You’ll lead site activities, mentor juniors, and uphold safety and collaborative working practices. This role offers exposure to major infrastructure and a chance to contribute to sustainable, customer-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Support delivery of Water Infrastructure projects through all phases
- Coordinate with internal teams and external designers (Structural, Electrical & Mechanical)
- Manage subcontractors during site investigations, design, and construction
- Produce construction-stage documentation and secure permits/approvals
- Participate in design and progress meetings and mentor junior team members
- Ensure project compliance using the Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Drive safety and collaboration in line with Health, Safety and Environment culture
Key requirements
- Recognised electrical engineering qualifications
- Experience with NEC 4 contracts
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and current legislation
- Experience managing subcontractors and working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
