Overview

Join Legal & General as an Insurance Client Manager within a high-performing client relationships team. You will be the trusted contact for insurance clients, delivering proactive service while coordinating cross-functional solutions. You’ll provide technical insight on investment products, client strategies, and market developments, and support audits and meetings. You will develop deep understanding of client objectives, identify risks and opportunities, and help drive continuous improvement through collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with insurance clients, delivering high-quality service and support
  • Coordinate and resolve client enquiries with cross-functional teams
  • Provide technical insight on investment products, client strategies and market developments
  • Attend client meetings and lead operational or audit discussions when required
  • Develop understanding of client objectives and identify risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver client projects, data requests and change initiatives
  • Produce and review client reporting, documentation and investment-related materials
  • Embed Consumer Duty principles by delivering good client outcomes and responding to feedback

Key requirements

  • Experience in investment management with a focus on client service and relationship management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external clients, including senior stakeholders
  • Strong investment knowledge including institutional products such as credit, private markets and LDI
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Commercial awareness to identify client needs, risks and opportunities
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset to work across teams and contribute to shared goals
  • Degree educated (or equivalent), with IMC or a relevant professional qualification desirable
