SAP SuccessFactors Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead SAP SuccessFactors delivery from initiation to go-live and transition to BAU. You will govern, plan, budget, and drive delivery quality while managing stakeholder relationships and cross‑functional teams. You will apply SAP Activate and oversee HR processes, cloud HR transformation, and data migrations to achieve business objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on governance, risk, and commercial performance to deliver value for customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors project delivery (initiation to go-live and hypercare)
• Manage scope, plans, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies and quality
• Establish governance, change control and escalation processes
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including functional, technical, customer and partner resources
• Build trusted client relationships and act as senior project contact
• Run steering committees, governance meetings and senior stakeholder updates
• Coordinate activities across SuccessFactors modules, HR processes, ERP/S/4HANA, payroll and integrations
• Ensure testing, data validation, deployment planning and post-go-live support
• Apply SAP Activate throughout the lifecycle and adapt to project size/complexity
• Manage commercial aspects: budgets, forecasts, costs, resource needs and changes
• Collaborate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to align delivery with requirements
• Coordinate change management, training and adoption activities
• Support account teams in identifying follow-on opportunities and contribute to proposals and pre-sales
• Share knowledge and promote best practices across the SAP practice

Key requirements

• Significant experience as a Project Manager delivering SAP implementations or programmes
• Experience managing projects through full delivery lifecycle (initiation to go-live and transition)
• Experience delivering SAP SuccessFactors implementations (Employee Central and at least one other module)
• Understanding of SAP Activate and project delivery methodologies
• Strong HR process understanding and cloud-based transformation experience
• Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder and multi-team environments
• Experience data migration, integrations, testing and dependency management
• Strong financial management, forecasting and change control skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods
• Travel willingness
