Overview
As Contract Manager for social housing repairs, voids and disrepair, you will oversee delivery across contracts from Thame, ensuring on-time, safe, and budget-conscious outcomes. You’ll lead operational teams, manage client relationships, and drive performance against KPIs and SLAs. The role blends commercial focus with service excellence, shaping improvements and contract development. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs, voids and disrepair contracts
- Lead and develop operational teams including supervisors, administrators and subcontractors
- Build and maintain relationships with local authority and housing association clients
- Monitor performance against KPIs, SLAs and client expectations
- Control budgets and commercial performance to maximise profitability
- Oversee health and safety compliance and ensure legal/company standards
- Review performance and implement best practices
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure quality
- Produce operational reports and participate in client review meetings
- Identify service improvements and opportunities for contract development
Key requirements
- Significant experience managing responsive repairs, voids and disrepair contracts
- Strong knowledge of social housing maintenance and property services
- Experience leading operational teams and driving performance
- Excellent budget management and commercial awareness
- Customer-focused with strong client relationship management
- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
