Senior Site Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee a large traditional build residential scheme from inception to completion, reporting to the Senior Project Manager. You will drive day-to-day site leadership and ensure on-site delivery aligns with project goals within a top-tier housebuilder. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to manage safety, quality, and coordination across trades. This is a high-impact position that shapes the delivery of a residential development and contributes to the company’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site aspects of a large traditional build residential scheme from inception to completion
• Coordinate trades and on-site activities to align with project timelines
• Ensure health and safety, quality, and compliance on site
• Report progress and issues to the Senior Project Manager
• Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve on-site challenges
• Maintain site logistics and programme integrity to support delivery goals

Key requirements

• CSCS Card (Black or Gold)
• SMSTS certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• experience as a Site Manager on residential new build projects
• strong track record delivering large traditional build residential schemes
• developer experience
