Senior Relationship Manger – Commercial Lending

Overview

In this role you will originate and structure commercial property lending while nurturing key client relationships. You will manage the loan lifecycle and drive opportunities across senior debt, mezzanine, and other financing structures. You will lead negotiations, oversee execution, and ensure credit proposals and due diligence are thorough. You will monitor portfolio performance, manage risk, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliant, efficient loan administration. This is a client-facing, impact-driven role in a global banking environment with clear targets and growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure commercial property lending transactions
• Build and manage client relationships throughout the loan lifecycle
• Source new lending opportunities across senior debt, mezzanine and other financing structures
• Lead negotiations and oversee transaction execution
• Prepare and review credit proposals, due diligence and property analysis
• Monitor portfolio performance and manage risk
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth loan administration
• Meet lending, revenue and portfolio targets while ensuring regulatory compliance

Key requirements

• 5–10 years’ experience in commercial real estate finance
• Proven track record of originating and executing property finance transactions
• Strong knowledge of commercial property lending products, including bridging and exit finance
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and financial assessment skills
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation and decision-making abilities
• Good understanding of credit risk and regulatory requirements
