Group Financial Controller

Overview

In this role you will lead the group’s financial consolidation and reporting, shaping the financial narrative for a fast-growing PE-backed company. You will work closely with the finance team to improve processes, support acquisitions, and ensure robust controls and compliance. The position offers exposure to consolidation, investor reporting, and year-end statutory accounts within a dynamic, evolving group. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the group consolidated financial statements
• Lead on the timely delivery of management reporting
• Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation
• Assist with providing financial information for acquisitions
• Prepare and review year end statutory accounts
• Responsible for the group VAT and tax compliance
• Investor reporting
• Look to strengthen internal controls and processes
• Produce and present key financial reporting
• Management of a finance team

Key requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• experience in a complex business
• strong technical accounting skills
• experience of consolidating accounts (preferrable)
• advanced Excel skills
• PE-backed environment experience (advantage)
