Senior Associate, Portfolio Management Operations

Overview

In this role you will drive Portfolio Management Operations initiatives that improve the investment process and related technology. You will collaborate with global operations and technology teams to deliver fund launches, transitions and process enhancements, while identifying risks and driving cross-functional changes. You will support regional portfolio managers and build strong relationships across departments to enable smooth execution. Responsibilities

• Manage projects to enhance the investment process and related technology within the PM team
• Coordinate with global operations and technology teams to prioritize and execute initiatives
• Identify barriers to project success and escalate or resolve them
• Facilitate changes to investment strategies and processes with portfolio managers in the region
• Support portfolio management with account launches, closures, and transitions
• Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and influence without authority
• Document and communicate complex processes within the PM team
• Identify operational risks and design/implement solutions
• Develop expertise related to investment management

Key requirements

• Degree, or equivalent, in an analytical subject (science, engineering, finance or economics) or related experience
• Experience in consulting, product management, or project management, preferably with financial services projects
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build cross-functional relationships globally
• Excellent quantitative problem-solving and analytic skills
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience with Atlassian products, JIRA and Confluence (preferred)
