Works Manager

Overview

As Works Manager with civil engineering specialization, you will oversee construction activities and ensure adherence to standards on large-scale trunk main projects. You’ll lead cross-functional coordination with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, monitor progress, and uphold health and safety on sites. You’ll produce progress reports and resolve project challenges, while maintaining clear communication within the team. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction works on site
• Ensure completion to industry standards and project requirements
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and stakeholders
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines
• Conduct site inspections and ensure health and safety compliance
• Prepare progress reports and update project documentation
• Address issues arising during the project lifecycle

Key requirements

• Significant experience in civil engineering
• Strong understanding of construction standards and regulations for large-diameter trunk main projects
