Overview

Join WeWork in London as Manager of International Financial Reporting to lead IFRS statutory reporting for a global portfolio. You will guide audits, coordinate with external service providers, and manage multiple projects across EMEA & APAC to ensure compliance and timely filings. You’ll work cross-functionally to address disclosures and GAAP adjustments, driving clear reporting for executives. This role combines technical IFRS expertise with strong leadership in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee statutory reporting across multiple EMEA/APAC entities
  • Coordinate audit support with external providers (e.g., Accenture)
  • Manage project execution and resolve roadblocks
  • Ensure efficient communication with external service providers
  • Provide weekly project status updates to leadership
  • Draft/update disclosures and monitor new disclosure requirements
  • Review US GAAP to local GAAP adjustments for accuracy
  • Conduct financial statement reviews and address comments prior to distribution
  • Prepare complex audit areas (impairment, AR reserves, lease modifications, going concern) with senior accounting support
  • Negotiate service provider fees and oversee contracting logistics
  • Make day-to-day decisions to maintain project momentum and escalate as needed
  • Coordinate with accounting, tax, legal, treasury, finance, payroll, real estate, and people ops teams

Key requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • 5+ years in accounting and financial reporting
  • IFRS reporting experience
  • US GAAP knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with multinational companies/global markets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Knowledge of Workday and Alteryx is a plus
  • Experience with auditors or in an audit role is desirable
