Global Credit Trading & Syndicate – Primary CLO Structuring & Origination – Associate or Vice President

Overview

In this role you will support Primary CLO Structuring/Origination and CLO Syndicate, contributing to deal execution across portfolio analysis, capital structure, and documentation. You will prepare market materials, collaborate with issuers and investors, and participate in roadshows to drive CLO transactions. The role sits at the intersection of analytics, origination, and marketing within a leading global bank. You will work with cross-functional partners to size, structure, and execute deals that align with client needs and firm strategies.

Responsibilities

• Interact with CLO issuers, senior execution team, syndicate, sales, legal, rating agencies and investors through all deal phases
• Participate in all aspects of deal execution: portfolio analysis, capital structure tranching/rating, documentation, negotiation, marketing
• Develop knowledge of analytic tools and models to size transactions for rating agencies; (Associates) CLO transaction modelling
• Monitor and prepare market updates for senior bankers and marketers focusing on asset/liability yields, issuance levels, structural features
• Create marketing materials for CLO issuer clients
• Participate in conference and investor marketing roadshows
• Track and monitor desk P&L and reconcile with supporting finance teams
• Prepare materials for internal meetings and approvals
• Assist in investor requests
• Monitor warehouse exposure
• Liaise with Middle Office, Finance, and Technology teams

Key requirements

• Extensive in financial markets
• Experience in CLOs or structured finance/ABS
• High proficiency in CLO market software and technology (CDOEdge; Cashflow Evaluator; Intex Dealmaker)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
• Strong analytical, quantitative and written and oral communication skills
