Regional FP&A Business Partner

In this role you partner with Regional Directors and Home Managers to steer financial performance across a portfolio of care homes. You translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic objectives. You’ll drive forecasting, budgeting, and commercial analysis to enable sustainable resident-focused care. Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Directors and Home Managers to drive financial performance across a portfolio of homes
• Analyse monthly financial results to uncover drivers, trends, risks and opportunities
• Support occupancy, revenue, margin and EBITDA targets via robust FP&A processes
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and reforecasting aligned with operational plans
• Develop financial models linked to occupancy, staffing, fees and resident demand
• Produce performance reports, dashboards and variance analyses for informed decisions
• Challenge spending to improve efficiency, profitability and cost control
• Present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Support operational improvement initiatives, refurbishments and new openings
• Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering experience
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, modelling and performance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large datasets
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate financials into insights
• Confidence presenting to non-finance stakeholders and senior leaders
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building abilities
• Willingness to travel to care homes within the region
• Healthcare, care homes, hospitality or multi-site operational experience beneficial
• Power BI or similar reporting tools would be beneficial
