Overview

In this role you support the Compliance Team across EMEA by guiding HCP/HCO interactions and sponsorship activities to remain compliant with laws and industry codes. You will partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Marketing to provide risk-based guidance and approve engagement initiatives. You’ll lead reviews, maintain clear documentation, and help embed a culture of integrity. This position offers impact across regions, shaping how ethical collaboration aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead compliance review and approval of HCP engagement activities across EMEA
  • Provide risk-based guidance to cross-functional teams on HCP interactions in line with laws and codes (MedTech Europe, Mecomed)
  • Oversee sponsorship review and approval for third-party educational events; manage drafting of agreements
  • Maintain and enhance the HCP engagement framework to support business objectives
  • Maintain trackers and documentation for transparency, audit readiness, and post-activity reviews
  • Keep the Director, Compliance Officer, EMEA informed with risk reports and trends
  • Design and deliver targeted training on compliance needs as required
  • Support broader ethics and compliance program initiatives and cross-functional collaboration

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • experience in Ethics & Compliance or internal controls in Life Sciences
  • knowledge of FCPA and global Life Sciences regulatory requirements
  • ability to influence cross-functionally and work with multiple teams
  • strong attention to detail, time management and communication skills in English
  • experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
