Overview

In this role, you will work with Partners and Directors on complex transactions to provide expert tax advice. You’ll engage across UK and international tax issues, supporting a range of clients from corporates to asset managers. You will help structure transactions, model tax implications, and reflect advice in legal documents, while driving value throughout the investment cycle. You’ll collaborate across the KPMG network and develop leadership within a fast‑paced, deal‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex transactions to deliver advice and service
  • Support in pursuing new opportunities, including proposals and pitches
  • Develop and maintain client relationships alongside Deal Advisory
  • Be a primary contact for clients, legal advisers, and other KPMG teams to facilitate delivery
  • Coach and develop colleagues, collaborate with peers, and continuously learn
  • Prepare/oversee detailed technical advice covering UK and international tax issues
  • Analyze tax documents/data and articulate commercial impacts to clients
  • Collaborate with UK and overseas tax specialists, evaluating input
  • Demonstrate up-to-date tax knowledge on UK and OECD developments
  • Understand financial models from a tax perspective
  • Contribute to Deal Advisory Tax thought leadership

Key requirements

  • Qualified CTA or ACA/ CA or equivalent
