Manager, Payroll Advisory and Time & Attendance

Overview

In this role you will lead Payroll Advisory and Time & Attendance initiatives within EY’s Total Workforce Management practice, guiding client engagements and ensuring high-quality delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into implementable solutions, manage budgets, and drive post-implementation optimization. You will stay current with HR technology trends and foster growth-oriented team development. This position offers the opportunity to shape large-scale workforce transformations for diverse clients in a global firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement teams to deliver professional services on HR technology and WFM implementations
• Develop and manage project budgets and ensure timely, quality deliverables
• Maintain productive client relationships and align work with business priorities
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and inform key stakeholders of outcomes
• Foster a team-oriented environment and provide on-the-job coaching
• Demonstrate deep WFM knowledge and assimilate new developments in advisory services
• Identify and pursue long-term client relationships and cross-team opportunities
• Collaborate with EY colleagues to meet client needs and drive business opportunities

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Previous consulting experience
• Experience with UKG Pro or Pro WFM (or other Tier 1 T&A solution) project implementations; UKG certifications ideal
• Alternatively, payroll implementation experience with Tier 1 vendors (e.g., ADP, Alight)
• Experience analyzing solution gaps and providing oversight/advisory recommendations
• Experience supporting or leading business process design and deployment activities
• Experience leading client discussions from requirements to testing and deployment
• Understanding of end-to-end implementation life cycle and project management
• Ability to solve problems with limited information and drive next steps
• Willingness to travel (~30%)
