Overview

In this Principal Analyst role within EDF’s BWS Finance, you provide strategic financial leadership to influence performance and decision-making across cost, capex, cashflow and forecasts. You’ll partner with senior leaders to deliver robust reporting and forward-looking insights that support EBIT targets and the four-year planning cycle. The role blends financial analysis with commercial insight to drive continuous improvement and impactful change in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate reporting and forecasting across Opex, Capex, headcount, balance sheet and cash performance
  • Deliver forward-looking financial insight to influence profitability and performance
  • Act as trusted Finance Business Partner to the BWS Senior Leadership Team
  • Support the four-year medium-term planning process with robust financial challenge
  • Consolidate reporting and forecasts across the wider BWS business, including gross margin
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting quality
  • Manage project-based and ad hoc financial analysis, turning data into actionable recommendations
  • Build relationships across the business to align financial and strategic objectives
  • Lead engagement with external auditors, supporting governance, compliance and reporting integrity
  • Collaborate across the wider BWS Finance team to maintain a high-performing, supportive environment
