Overview

In this role you will lead on-site delivery for a growing, family-run main contractor with projects across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You will oversee refurbishments to listed buildings, social housing schemes, and residential works, driving quality and programme adherence. You will work closely with a dynamic management team to expand the client base and win further contracts. This position offers hands-on leadership, a competitive package, and the chance to shape delivery on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery for listed buildings refurbishments and residential/social housing projects
• Coordinate damp-proofing, external repairs, chimney installations, extensions, and full refurbishments
• Ensure safety, quality, and programme milestones are met
• Manage site teams and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Maintain documentation and reporting using MS Excel/Word

• SMSTS

• First Aid
