Overview

In this role, you will support the Global Infrastructure Credit team by evaluating and underwriting project finance, tax equity, and other credit facilities for energy, power, and infrastructure. You will conduct thorough due diligence, build financial models, and collaborate with risk and enterprise partners to balance client needs with risk/return. The role contributes to Bank of America’s infrastructure and sustainable finance initiatives and supports cross‑functional decision making. This opportunity offers exposure to large-scale financing and impactful infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial, industry, and transaction analyses and prepare documentation for credit approval
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on transaction structures, stress scenarios, financial models, and terms
  • Underwrite and document project finance and other credit facilities to meet client and investor needs while aligning with risk/return targets
  • Provide input on key bank projects/initiatives
  • Review credit profiles of counterparties (borrowers, servicers, sponsors, off-takers) and engage with risk partners

Key requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in corporate or commercial credit at a financial institution
  • Experience in project finance/tax equity/structured credit with focus on energy, power, infrastructure, or data center financings
  • Strong technical skills including quantitative financial modeling
  • Formal credit training program at a financial institution
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks and deliver high-quality results
