In this role you will handle a range of contentious construction matters for a diverse client base, shaping high-value disputes through litigation, arbitration, and ADR. You join a collaborative team in a progressive firm with strong client relationships and clear progression paths. You will manage your own caseload, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to growing the construction practice. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of contentious construction matters across litigation, arbitration, adjudication and ADR
- Advise clients strategically with a commercial focus while handling high-value, complex disputes
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff
- Develop and maintain client relationships to grow the firm’s construction practice
- Represent clients in disputes before courts, tribunals and arbitral panels
Key requirements
- 8+ years PQE in construction litigation within a strong regional, national or City firm
- Extensive experience with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC) and related disputes
- Proficiency in adjudication, arbitration and court proceedings
- Ability to manage own caseload and provide supervisory guidance
