Overview
As Audit Manager, you will lead a diverse portfolio of audit clients across sectors, delivering high-quality assurance and building strong client relationships. You will mentor junior staff, review work, and collaborate with Partners to drive business development in the Liverpool market. This is a growth-stage role shaping the new Liverpool City Centre office and contributing to its reputation and expansion. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, manage budgets and deadlines, and provide value-added advice to clients.

Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of audit clients from planning to completion
- Lead and review audit assignments ensuring standards compliance
- Provide commercial, value-added recommendations to clients
- Manage client relationships and act as trusted business advisor
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Collaborate with Partners on business development in Liverpool
- Contribute to growth and establishment of the Liverpool office
- Monitor budgets, deadlines, and project delivery
Key requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- strong background in audit in an accountancy practice
