Overview
In this role you join a collaborative commissioning team at a nuclear-enabled site to lead and document testing activities. You will manage test procedures, record results, and analyse outputs while ensuring safe systems of work and regulatory compliance. You’ll work across nuclear, conventional, and safety-critical systems, contributing to a critical project and embedding within an experienced project team. This is an embedded, on-site opportunity with potential shift progression as the project advances.
Responsibilities
- Author and manage commissioning test procedures and safe systems of work
- Maintain accurate records of test results
- Conduct commissioning tests and analyse results
- Communicate effectively and manage processes
- Carry out commissioning duties on systems including nuclear, conventional and environmental safety systems, control systems, process monitoring and control instrumentation, wastewater tanks, and Nuclear qualified cranes
Key requirements
- Experienced with commissioning electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on a Nuclear Licensed site
- Familiar with Licence Condition 21 site arrangements, Health and Safety standards, permits, and safety case adherence
- Able to perform initial operator duties during commissioning testing phases (Non active commissioning)
- Skilled in authoring test procedures and reports
- Understanding of design, construction, and handover processes
