Overview

As Analyst for STR in London, you will help produce international hotel performance forecasts and craft clear narratives around projections. You will join a global forecast team and contribute to region-specific methodologies while partnering with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll turn data into actionable insights and help position STR as a thought leader through reports and client-ready storytelling. Responsibilities

  • Assist in production and delivery of STR market forecasts outside North America
  • Develop forecasting methodology capturing regional macro trends and hotel performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; conduct market research to adjust forecasts
  • Build deep understanding of global hotel performance and key demand drivers
  • Communicate trends and forecast assumptions to clients and colleagues
  • Visualize data and contribute to blogs, articles, and white papers for clients
  • Maintain data quality and investigate anomalies to resolve issues
  • Adhere to data confidentiality standards
  • Coordinate with Product and global analyst teams across offices
  • Stay updated on hotel industry trends and communicate implications
  • Ensure STR brand and values are evident in client interactions

Key requirements

  • Strong understanding of the hotel industry; experience in the industry is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with Power BI and SSMS preferred
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building and presentation skills
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and work environments
  • Results-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently or in a team
  • Analytical and research skills; able to interpret and visualize data
  • Strong decision-making abilities and ownership of decisions
  • Ability to present trends and insights to stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills across time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum two years of related work experience
