Overview

In this role, you will lead the technical and commercial delivery of LNG projects, guiding FEED and Detailed Design across the LNG value chain. You report to the Director of Projects and manage cross-site teams to meet cost, schedule, and safety targets. You will build strong client relationships, drive financial performance, and mentor the next generation of LNG professionals. This is a high-impact leadership position within a global, multi-location delivery environment, focused on decarbonisation and safe, reliable project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assure safe project execution while meeting cost, schedule, and contractual targets
  • Deliver on financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget, and schedule performance
  • Serve as primary client contact and maintain strong relationships
  • Build and sustain delivery teams across multiple locations/time zones
  • Support pursuit of new work through client meetings and proposals
  • Ensure project execution complies with company policies and requirements
  • Manage project risk to prevent delays and reputational damage
  • Accountability for project financial performance and status reporting
  • Identify resource requirements and coordinate with resource managers
  • Plan and maintain project execution and ensure adherence to the plan
  • Train, develop and mentor LNG project professionals
  • Monitor progress and key technical concerns, including Earned Value reporting
  • Implement lessons learned and technical corrective actions
  • Manage contract administration, change orders, and risk management
  • Resolve issues with clients and coordinating groups while upholding business ethics

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable track record in LNG projects with experience in greenfield and brownfield environments
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management across multi-location teams
  • Experience with FEED and Detailed Design delivery
  • Contract administration and change management experience
  • Proficiency in Earned Value and project reporting
  • Professional Engineering qualification and/or project management qualification (e.g., PMP or AMP)
  • Ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders
  • Experience with construction subcontractors and pre-enquiry engagement
