Senior Civil Engineer – Water

Overview

As Senior Civil Engineer in Stantec’s Water division in Brighton, you shape civil engineering design across asset planning to detailed design. You lead civil engineering teams and collaborate with project design leads to ensure successful delivery for our water clients. You’ll work on diverse water sector projects, from clean and wastewater networks to urban drainage and flood management, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for projects across asset planning to detailed design
• Provide technical leadership to civil engineering teams
• Collaborate with project design leads to ensure delivery and client satisfaction
• Engage with clients in a client-facing role to build and sustain relationships
• Deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions leveraging Stantec expertise
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary design processes and project lifecycles
• Support development of junior engineers and mentored growth
• Participate in project planning and risk management across the water sector

Key requirements

• Experience as a Civil Engineer on water, environment or related infrastructure projects
• Chartered or Incorporated member status with ICE or CIWEM (preferred)
• Proven track record in successful project delivery and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in client engagement and leading client interactions
