NQ-4 PQE Military Solicitor – Cardiff

Overview

In this role you support a respected national firm’s Military Claims team, handling a varied, high-stakes personal injury portfolio. You will work within a supportive culture to manage military-related claims from enquiry to settlement, including complex clinical negligence and exposure cases. You will draft pleadings, review medical evidence, and coordinate with experts and Counsel to deliver meaningful outcomes for service personnel and families. Responsibilities

• Handle military-related personal injury claims including clinical negligence and industrial disease
• Draft pleadings, witness statements and review medical evidence
• Prepare schedules of loss and instruct relevant experts
• Advise clients on complex, sensitive issues
• Liaise with Counsel and attend conferences
• Manage claims from initial enquiry through to settlement
• Support wider PI and clinical negligence teams when needed
• Supervise junior fee earners (depending on experience)

Key requirements

• NQ-4 PQE with experience in personal injury, clinical negligence or related litigation
• Confidence managing own caseload and meeting deadlines
• Excellent client care skills with empathy in sensitive matters
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
