Overview

In this role you will support the UK legal team by managing legal risk and delivering commercial guidance for engineering consultancy appointments. You will advise on contract, construction, planning, and related disciplines, liaising across engineering and support functions. You’ll draft and review appointments and monitor processes while keeping the team informed on legal developments. Responsibilities

• Assist in managing legal risk within the UK team
• Provide commercial advice on engineering consultancy appointments across disciplines
• Advise on contract and construction law matters
• Liaise with internal teams and engineering functions
• Draft and review appointment documents and oversee related processes
• Keep the team updated on relevant legal developments
• Deliver ad-hoc training and support the contract delivery phase

Key requirements

• Solicitor newly qualified or up to 5 PQE
• Training and experience at a national or regional firm with commercial expertise
• Experience in Commercial, Construction, Planning, Projects or Environmental law
