Overview

In this role you will lead and project-manage tenders and proposals to win profitable work for Gateley, collaborating with partners and fee earners across the Property Platform. You will coordinate cross-functional input, ensure timely delivery and compliance, and develop winning bid strategies. The position sits in the Bid team within Marketing and Front of House, emphasizing cross-office collaboration and content quality. This role offers impact on new-business outcomes and cross-sell opportunities across Gateley’s platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tenders and proposals for regional and national opportunities (legal and/or consultancy)
  • Guide bid/no-bid decisions with Senior Bids Manager and BD team
  • Collaborate with fee earners to craft winning bid strategies and propositions
  • Project manage bids, coordinate pricing and contract reviews, ensure compliance
  • Draft, edit and proofread compelling content for submissions
  • Coordinate with IT, HR, Accounts, Facilities and Compliance to ensure accuracy of information
  • Maintain Gateley brand compliance for collateral; support fee earners in presentations
  • Contribute to post-bid analysis and debriefs; share best practices
  • Support Content Hub updates and precedent bank; ensure knowledge of Property Platform work

Key requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ bid or tender management experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience with formal tenders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with influence
  • Ability to maintain and develop senior-level client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail; strong IT and numeracy skills
  • Strong personal organisation; ability to prioritise work and work under pressure
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • InDesign experience preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and online research tools
  • Experience in property and/or construction sectors is advantageous
