Overview
In this Risk Manager role within the Energy & Natural Resources division, you will support delivery teams by capturing and analyzing risk data to protect project objectives. You will tailor risk processes to client needs, facilitate risk workshops, and maintain risk information to inform cost and schedule decisions. You’ll drive mitigation actions, perform quantitative risk assessment, and report on risk exposure using standard tools. This position offers the chance to contribute to nuclear-sector projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver time- and cost-conscious outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Plan, design and implement client-tailored risk management processes
- Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts
- Create and maintain risk registers and related information
- Challenge risk data to improve data quality
- Drive mitigation actions across projects and programmes
- Develop measurable management responses for post-mitigation positions
- Conduct Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule impacts
- Demonstrate competency with tools such as Safran, @risk, PRA
- Produce timely risk reporting using Microsoft Office and Power BI
- Familiarity with ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau for web-based reporting
- Collaborate with Project Controls to align project information
- Coordinate with supply chain to capture external risks
Key requirements
- Professional risk management experience across the full project lifecycle
- Nuclear sector experience is desirable but not required
- Ability to adjust risk strategies in response to change and communicate complex risk information
- Familiarity with risk management systems such as Safran, @risk, PRA
- Strategic awareness and critical thinking for risk scenario implications
- BPSS level security clearance or ability to obtain
- Member of IRM or APM or equivalent
- Familiarity with ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA risk standards
- Risk qualification such as APM Risk Certificate Level 2 or MoR is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in a Project Controls environment and interest in nuclear sector
