Architectural Technologist

Overview

In this role you will support a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality technical information from design through construction across education, healthcare, culture, and other sectors. You will work closely with architects, engineers and QS to ensure buildability and compliance, while developing BIM capabilities and coordinating across disciplines. Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate technical drawings, details, specifications and schedules
• Develop projects from concept to completion
• Coordinate technical information for multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and standards
• Conduct site visits and resolve technical issues
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants
• Submit planning and building regulations applications

Key requirements

• Qualification in Architectural Technology (Degree/HNC/HND)
• Strong technical experience in architectural or construction environment
• Solid understanding of UK construction methods and regulations
• Skilled in Revit and technical drawing production
• Detail-driven, organised and able to work independently or in a team
• CIAT membership or working towards accreditation (advantageous)
