Overview
In this role you support the interiors division of a reputable main contractor by delivering commercial excellence on high-end interior fit-out projects. You will work on Cat A and Cat B schemes ranging up to £5m, collaborating with clients and subcontractors to maintain cost control and project profitability. The position offers exposure to prestigious retail interfaces and a variety of refurbishment and alteration works across London and the Home Counties. This is a permanent opportunity to contribute to a well-established, multi-sector contractor with a strong regional footprint.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial aspects on interior fit-out projects within 250k–5m value
- Support cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor liaison to protect project margins
- Prepare and review financial reports, variations, and final accounts
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are met
- Contribute to bid support and post-contract commercial activities
Key requirements
- Track record delivering high-end interior fit-out projects for a reputable main contractor
- Experience working on Cat A & Cat B projects up to 5m in value
- Excellent all-round commercial skills
- Able to commute to Hertfordshire
