You will identify and mitigate risks in inventory, logistics, and third-party partnerships, using data analytics and audits to improve accuracy and governance. Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks across 3PLs, transportation networks, inventory management activities, and third-party contract manufacturing
  • Develop and implement supply chain profit protection and risk mitigation strategies
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend practical control improvements
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies, stock losses, damages, shrinkage trends, and operational exceptions
  • Support cycle count and stocktake programmes ensuring audit compliance and timely resolution of findings
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve profit protection controls and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Coordinate internal and external audits related to inventory management, logistics, and asset protection
  • Identify trends from data analysis and present actionable insights to stakeholders and senior management
  • Monitor compliance with policies and standards, proposing process improvements to strengthen resilience
  • Collaborate with 3PL providers and external partners to maintain standards and controls
  • Track audit findings and remediation actions to closure within timelines
  • Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, and control frameworks
  • Provide guidance on profit protection and risk management to cross-functional teams
  • Support training initiatives to enhance compliance and control effectiveness

Key requirements

  • Experience in Profit Protection, Loss Prevention, Supply Chain Risk, Internal Controls, Audit, Inventory Management, Logistics, or related field
  • Experience investigating stock loss, inventory discrepancies, fraud, theft, or operational incidents
  • Experience supporting internal and external audit programmes and managing audit actions
  • Experience analyzing operational, financial, or inventory data to identify risks and improve performance
  • Experience working with stakeholders across operational and corporate functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex data
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and internal controls
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of ERP and supply chain systems
  • Must be comfortable with cross-functional collaboration to embed controls across processes
