Head of International ER

Overview

In this role you will lead the international employee relations strategy, ensuring globally consistent and locally compliant conduct, grievance, workplace concerns and case management. You will partner with senior leaders, People, Legal, Compliance and Risk to resolve complex matters and support balanced business decisions. You will identify ER risks and translate them into proactive governance, while driving consistent processes and documentation across jurisdictions. You will build capability by strengthening manager effectiveness and developing a high-performing international ER team. This is a chance to shape ER across markets for a leading global financial services firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the international employee relations strategy with global consistency and local compliance
• Partner with senior leaders and Legal, Compliance, Risk to resolve complex matters
• Identify emerging ER risks and translate into governance insights and leadership actions
• Improve consistency and efficiency of ER processes, investigations and documentation across jurisdictions
• Strengthen manager effectiveness and develop a high-performing international ER team

Key requirements

• Law degree preferred
• Sufficient years of People experience or strategic work
• Strong judgment and credibility handling complex, sensitive, high-risk employee matters
