Principal Product Manager / Product Lead, Wise for Banks

Overview

In this Principal Product Manager role, you will set the direction for a strategic area within Wise Platform Banks, translating partner needs into a focused roadmap. You’ll work closely with engineering, sales, and delivery to deliver scalable payments solutions for bank partners. You’ll balance customer value, commercial opportunity, and regulatory constraints while driving measurable outcomes. You will influence multiple teams, mentor others, and represent the product to prospective and existing banks, shaping cross-border payments at scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product direction and roadmap for a Banks portfolio area
• Engage with bank partners and their customers to uncover需求 and constraints
• Make principled trade-offs among customer value, commercial impact, regulatory risk and technical complexity
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design and Analytics from discovery to launch and iteration
• Align cross-team priorities and dependencies across Wise to deliver integrated solutions for banks
• Define and track measurable outcomes using adoption, payment performance and customer impact
• Support partners and sales in qualifying opportunities and setting realistic expectations

Key requirements

• Experience building payments products with measurable outcomes
• Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguity into a roadmap
• Technical depth with APIs, backend platforms and integrations
• Data-driven decision making and ability to combine quantitative with qualitative insights
• Influence and align multiple stakeholders beyond the immediate team
