Overview
In this role you will help asset-intensive clients improve OT performance and asset reliability by applying asset-management and OT expertise. You’ll work within PA’s Asset Management practice to strengthen governance, lifecycle planning, and decision-making for critical infrastructure. You’ll diagnose asset health, drive risk-based maintenance, and support transformation initiatives using data and digital tools. The opportunity combines engineering, analytics, and advisory work to deliver measurable improvements across cost, risk and service performance.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose OT assets performance and maintenance to improve reliability and availability
- Identify opportunities to enhance OT system performance and resilience
- Strengthen maintenance, inspection, and renewal through risk-based, proactive practices
- Apply ISO 55001-aligned asset-management principles to define roles, strategies and lifecycle controls
- Develop asset-management system elements such as governance, standards and continuous improvement
- Shape lifecycle approaches (plan–design–deliver–operate–renew) for consistent performance
- Analyze performance data and root causes to inform investment cases and improvement plans
- Support delivery roadmaps, business cases, and change artefacts
- Contribute to operating-model improvements and governance enhancements
- Assist clients with digital tools, telemetry, monitoring platforms and analytics to aid decision-making
- Hybrid working with client-site presence as required
Key requirements
- Experience in operational technology environments (e.g., SCADA-linked assets, control rooms)
- Background in engineering, maintenance, operations, reliability engineering, systems engineering or infrastructure management
- Experience in asset-management roles covering strategies, lifecycle planning or investment planning
- Experience working with operational or performance data
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate operational issues into business implications (performance, cost, risk, safety)
- Clear communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
