Overview

In this role you help advise high-growth technology-focused businesses on private capital raises and related transactions. You will conduct research, financial modelling, valuation and due diligence to support deal execution and business development across growth equity, private placements, structured equity and recapitalisations. You work closely with the PCM team in London or Amsterdam, translating complex analyses into clear messages for investors and management. You also mentor Analysts and interns, contributing to a formative culture for a new team. Responsibilities

  • Lead due diligence, research and documentation for potential and live transactions
  • Develop and deliver differentiated equity stories and proposals to founders, management and investors
  • Collaborate with Analysts on marketing materials highlighting competitive advantages
  • Participate in client meetings, drafting sessions and presentation of results
  • Deepen expertise in technology sub-sectors and monitor industry trends
  • Own client relationships across the private capital investor universe
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Provide on-the-job training and feedback to Analysts and summer interns, and support recruiting
  • Ensure activities comply with applicable rules and policies

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years investment banking experience (or equivalent in growth equity, venture or private capital markets) preferred
  • Strong passion for technology and disruptive business models
  • Familiar with cap table modelling including waterfall analyses
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, mathematical and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks with little notice and manage multiple projects
  • Effective leadership and coaching abilities
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to build a new team
