Overview

As Start-Up and Project Delivery Leader at the Reading Plant, you drive readiness for new initiatives and ensure smooth integration of technologies in manufacturing. You will build on-site capabilities, oversee equipment start-ups, and lead continuous improvement to eliminate waste and boost efficiency. You collaborate with technical experts and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects. This role offers hands-on leadership, growth through varied engineering challenges, and exposure to multi-million capital investments.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare operations to receive and implement new projects
• Develop skills and coaching programs for on-site technicians
• Lead delivery and start-up of new equipment and initiatives
• Collaborate with technical experts and other functions to design optimal solutions
• Create and improve standards to hit production targets
• Identify and reduce losses and inefficiencies

Key requirements

• Manufacturing or engineering experience
• Degree in mechanical, electric, or chemical engineering (Bachelor in Engineering)
• Demonstrated leadership in academic or extra-curricular activities
• Strong English verbal and written skills
• Right to work in the UK (with sponsorship options)
