Overview

As Senior Risk Manager in our Midlands Infrastructure team, you will lead risk management efforts across complex projects to drive better programme outcomes. You will shape risk processes, mentor teams, and integrate risk with project controls to improve data quality and decision making. You’ll work with cross‑functional delivery teams and interact with executives to communicate insights. This role offers exposure to high‑profile infrastructure programmes, with opportunities to innovate within a supportive Controls & Performance network. Responsibilities

  • Lead risk management teams to deliver robust, value‑adding risk activities across complex programmes
  • Design and tailor risk processes aligned with client needs and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement of risk management and project controls processes
  • Improve risk data quality and ensure information is robust and scrutinizable
  • Support implementation and rollout of updated risk management approaches
  • Act as risk SME on major projects or programmes
  • Collaborate with Integrated Project Team to establish a strong PMB and support change control
  • Design and deliver risk training and coach team members
  • Facilitate risk workshops with SMEs to identify and update risks
  • Maintain risk registers and ensure data quality and reporting
  • Lead mitigation actions and develop measurable management responses
  • Articulate benefits and requirements of risk management to project teams
  • Manage QSRA/QCRA and interpret outputs to focus project efforts
  • Support efficient contingency drawdown and engage with supply chain risks
  • Coordinate with other project controls disciplines to align project information
