Overview

In this role you will work within the Property Team to provide legal guidance on property, housing and regeneration matters, supporting the Council’s strategic ambitions. You will advise elected members, agents and stakeholders with a commercial, pragmatic approach while navigating political and corporate implications. The role offers a career-grade path with supervision as needed and opportunities to influence major city priorities in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • undertake a range of property, housing and regeneration work within the Property Team, with and without supervision
  • provide complex legal and procedural advice to elected members, agents and internal/external stakeholders
  • support the Council in achieving its ambitions through proactive, fast-paced delivery
  • work with clients to align legal advice with political and corporate considerations
  • maintain exceptional communication and negotiation to resolve matters effectively
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality public service outcomes
